If you’ve been here before, you’ll notice things have changed. The old site was built when Echo Thirteen was mostly a building systems consultancy, and it said so in gold capital letters.
A lot has changed since. The onsite work is still the core: project delivery, commissioning and integration across fire, security, access control, networks and AV, plus backing up contractors who need more hands. But the online side has grown into something just as big.
Two halves that feed each other
We build websites and apps for clients, and we now run a family of our own products. Graftix came straight out of site work: tasks pinned to drawings, with RFIs, permits and RAMS in one place. Graftix Live puts every installed device on the floor plan in real time. Kenaez turns existing CCTV into a searchable view of a whole estate, and Relocar runs the jobs for vehicle transport operators; both are in pilot testing now. Regimate and Ceodore are on the way.
So the new site is organised the way the business actually works: onsite and online, with our products alongside.
What goes here
This journal is where we’ll write about both sides: lessons from site, build notes from the products, and the odd opinion on how the two worlds should talk to each other more.
